Privacy policy

This policy explains what we collect when you use MetaChatsBot, why we need it, and what control you have over it. The service is operated by Mikhail Novikov.

What we collect about you

Telegram account data

Your Telegram ID, first name and username — used to identify you and to deliver requests to the right person.

Your settings

The region and niche profiles you selected, your stop-words, and the chats and authors you muted — used to decide which messages to forward to you.

Subscription data

Your subscription end date and the mode of your account — used to manage access.

Messages you send to the bot

If you write to the bot outside the menus, or send a payment confirmation, that message is forwarded to support so a human can respond.

We do not collect your payment card details. When you pay by card, the payment is handled by our payment provider acting as merchant of record; we receive only confirmation that the payment succeeded.

Content from public chats

To operate the service we process messages posted in chats that are open to any Telegram user. Only messages matching a subscriber's region and niche are forwarded, and they are forwarded as they were published. We do not access private groups or personal correspondence, and we do not build profiles of the people who post.

If you posted a message in an open chat and do not want it forwarded by the service, write to us and we will exclude you.

Why we are allowed to process this data

We process your account and settings data because it is necessary to provide the service you asked for. We process subscription data to meet our obligations as a seller, including tax and accounting requirements.

Who else sees the data

• Telegram — the platform the service runs on, under its own privacy policy.
• Our payment provider — processes your payment as merchant of record and holds the billing data you enter at checkout.
• Our hosting provider — stores the database on our behalf.

We do not sell your data and do not pass it to advertisers.

How long we keep it

Account and settings data is kept while your account exists in the bot. Records of payments are kept for as long as accounting rules require. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, except records we are legally obliged to keep.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to @help_metabot or support@chatsweb.site and we will respond within 30 days. Deleting your data means the bot can no longer deliver requests to you.

This website

This site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The web server keeps standard access logs, including IP addresses, for security purposes.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version is published on this page with a new date.
